Mandy Luisa is a latin pop singer born in Germany with yugoslavian roots.
She is the daughter of the Schlager singer Ibo
(well known for his number one single“Ibiza“ in the 70’s) .
She started music early when her well known stepuncle Matthias Reim
(„Verdammt ich lieb dich“, doble gold and doble platin)
took her on stage to perform in his show at Mallorca during many years.
She also recorded the songs „Idiot“ and „Ich hab geträumt von dir“
which were released earlier by Matthias and Michelle in 2002 and 1990.
Now, she recorded her single „Por qué te vas“,
a cover from Jeanette writen by José Luis Perales,
which was released in 1974.
She takes her own interpretation of this classic
Spanish evergreen to younger generations.
The feeling remains the same but the new reggaeton style
and the powerful feature performance of Tapo
are giving the song a special exotic note.
Her innocent, elegant and sexy appearance
will help to make this song a hit again.
