Biography.
Lian Ross is an European Hi-NRG/Eurodisco singer and songwriter. Best known for her songs which include: ”Say You’ll Never”, ”Fantasy” and ”Scratch My Name” among other number one hits in Russia, Asia and Europe.
A compilation of her hit singles and favorite tracks ”The Best of and More” was released in 2005.
She recorded very successful covers such as: Sylvester`s ”Do You Wanna Funk” and Modern Talking`s ”You’re My Heart, You’re My Soul”
Lian Ross performing under the project name Tears n’ Joy reached fame because of her dance cover version of Dolly Parton`s ”I Will Always Love You” which acheived the no. 1 position in the Netherlands in year 1993, and more top hits all over Europe with 2 Eivissa ”I Wanna Be Your Toy” and ”Move Your Body” – no. 1 hits in Spain in the year 1998/1999.
She has also lent her voice to projects like: FUN FACTORY, DJ PIERRO ”Another World” and TEEKO X „Killing Me Softly” which has won DJ Music Award in 1996 for the Best Dance Track a name a few.
With her number one hit singles ”Young Hearts Run Free” (2009) and ”Minnie the Moocher” (2012) provided Lian her busy tour schedule of radio and club performances.
„I Got The Beat” the album release from 2013 delivered different kinds of songs like „Around the World” (Tribalhouse) to Electropop „Shake Your Booty”. Her vision was to produce an ultimate dance album which is clearly visible and on the top of this all, you get a new version of Lian`s Italo song „Say You’ll Never” and a few club remixes with the spirit of House and Ibiza.
Her latest single release ”You’re My Heart, You’re My Soul” and „Good Feeling Power” with Big Daddi to include the collaboration with David Tavaré „Get Closer” will be the crossover into the modern genre of 21st century.
